McCain Prevails in NH, Clinton-Obama Tie

Results from the New Hampshire are coming in, and with 29% of the precincts reporting, we have gathered from various news sources that Arizona Senator John McCain has won the New Hampshire Republican primary with 38% of the Republican vote.

Mitt Romney, despite having served as Governor of the neighboring state of Massachusetts, was dealt another defeat in New Hampshire, with 28% of the Republican votes. Iowa Caucus winner Mike Huckabee came in third, with 12% of the vote.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani came in fourth, with 9% of the vote, and is only about 300 votes away from Congressman Ron Paul. Former Law & Order actor Fred Thompson only received 695 votes in New Hampshire.

On the Democratic side, Iowa Caucus winner Barack Obama is locked in a tight race with New York Senator Hillary Clinton, with Hillary Clinton ahead at this moment. Clinton has 40% of the votes in New Hampshire, with Obama garnering 36% of the vote. John Edwards is projected to be in third place, with 17% of the vote. New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson is in fourth place, with 5% of the vote.
