Beyond The MU: Pho Nhat

So, earlier this week, I went to Pho Nhat, a Vietnamese noodle restaurant on the Southeast corner of University Drive and Rural Road, and let’s see what that place is all about!

Pho (or Phở in Vietnamese. Pronounced “fuh” in English) is rice noodle in beef broth. It is a staple Vietnamese food, and there are other Pho places here in Phoenix.

The place is located inside a strip mall, which is packed with restaurants. So, if Vietnamese cuisine is not on your list, there are other choices, such as Chars, which serves Thai food, Gus’, which serves pizza, Delhi Palace, which serves Indian, Pita Fresh, and Blue Nile Cafe, which serves African food.

Well, with the MU not opening for another 3 weeks or so (if it even opens at all before the end of this semester), it is time for everyone to go look for something to eat. Now, you can either go to MU Express (lunch in a gym, anyone?), or you can find proper restaurants in other areas. So, let’s go Beyond The MU with a trip to Charlie’s! Beyond the MU: New Blog Series

Now that the MU is closed indefinitely, I will be starting a new section on my blog, talking about the different places that students can get food or hang out at around campus. I will be focusing on Mill Ave., University Drive, and places near Rural. The places covered will be within walking distance from ASU.
